Nowadays, we are able to stay in touch with each other at any moment.
Fiber cables, fast internet connections, and 5G make us feel as if we are
almost standing next to each other. However, there is a group of enthusiasts
who still use the old-fashioned way of communicating: the radio amateurs,
or ‘hams’ in professional jargon.
Unaware of this entire phenomenon, I immersed myself in their world and sought to understand what it means to be a radio amateur.
